Ingredients

  • 2 heads of ForestFoods romaine lettuce, halved lengthwise

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • ½ teaspoon ForestFoods Fire Dust (adjust to taste)

  • Salt, to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your BBQ or grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Cut romaine lettuce heads lengthwise, leaving the core intact.

  3. Brush the cut sides with olive oil.

  4. Sprinkle evenly with, Fire Dust, salt, and black pepper.

  5. Place romaine lettuce cut-side down on the grill for 2–3 minutes, until charred. Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes.

  6. Remove from the grill and squeeze fresh lime juice over the lettuce.

  7. Serve warm as a flavorful side or light main dish.
