Lemon Swiss Chard Pasta

This dish is all about fresh flavors and easy cooking! Think tender pasta tossed with garlic Swiss chard, a squeeze of bright lemon, and a drizzle of olive oil—light, zesty, and packed with goodness.
It’s the kind of meal that feels fancy but comes together in minutes—perfect for a quick lunch or dinner!
Ingredients:
12 ounces pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or penne)
2 cups ForestFoods Chard - Rainbow, chopped
1 ForestFoods Leek - Italian, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
¼ cup chopped ForestFoods Parsley - Curly (for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Sauté leeks and garlic until soft and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Add Swiss chard and cook until wilted, about 3 minutes.
Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Toss in the cooked pasta, adding reserved pasta water gradually until the sauce reaches a silky consistency.
Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley before serving.
