The problem is especially severe for perishable crops: within the East African Community (EAC), post-harvest losses are reported at 30% for cereals, 50% for roots and tubers, and up to 70% for fruits and vegetables (East African Community).

And for anything that isn’t fit for our food creations, we return it to the land through our BioComplete compost, feeding the soil that nourishes our future harvests.

While only the most pristine crops are reserved for our premium fresh selection, perfectly fresh and nutrient-dense produce that doesn’t meet cosmetic standards is directed into our Fresh2Go line. These vibrant vegetables are washed, chopped, and packaged into convenient, ready-to-cook kits — giving them a delicious second life where appearance is no longer what matters. It’s one of the many ways we reduce waste, respect the harvest, and stay true to our regenerative values.
